Chemist III

OVERVIEW

Under supervision, performs technical and specialized Analytical Chemist duties, research on assigned problems and studies in support of RPI’s method development, method validation, and technical investigation efforts. Performs testing of raw materials, in process (IP), finished product (FP) and stability (ST) samples, maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments, and carries out assigned laboratory work to support method development, validation, and complex technical investigations. Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products. Investigates customer complaints regarding quality. Overtime maybe required to meet business needs.
